# Disable quick add

Disable the Quick Add feature for specific products when:

* You have customized product pages
* The Quick Add component isn't compatible
* You want to force customers to visit the full product page

#### How to Disable Quick Add for a Product

1. **Open Product in Shopify Admin**
   * Navigate to **Products** in your Shopify admin
   * Select the product you want to modify
2. **Add Disable Tag**
   * Scroll down to the **Tags** section
   * Add the exact tag: `disable_quick_add`
   * Click **Save**
