How to
Using product tags
Open the product you’d like to update in Shopify
Scroll down to Tags
Enter “badge_Your badge text” where Your badge text could be replaced with any text you want
Click Save
Tags can also be updated using third-party apps, the bulk editor, or even the csv product import feature
Using product metafields
Create metafield definition
Navigate to Settings > Custom data > Products
Click Add definition
In the name field enter "Product badge"
Ensure the namespace and key field is
custom.badge
Update metafield
Navigate to the product you’d like to update
Scroll to the bottom and enter in text for the “Button text” metafield
Click Save
